Tolaya Geredine is a seasoned psychotherapist, having been practicing for about 10 years now. Upon graduation from Governors State University with her Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, she knew that she wanted to open her own practice to serve communities whose voice seemed to be on the outskirts of society. In 2019, this became a reality, and she now passionately serves various marginalized communities, including, but not limited to; People of Color, Women, Non-Binary identified individuals, from a culturally competent lens. Tolaya practices from an attachment and interpersonal standpoint, taking one's own family history & relational story into account, including with cultural "norms". Tolaya is trained in EMDR, Brainspotting, and Perinatal Mental Health. Her belief is that everyone deserves an opportunity to heal, & to heal, one must have a safe space to do so.
